We are proud to announce the remarkable achievement of the Loprais Team, which secured third place in the truck category of the 2025 Dakar Rally. Aleš Loprais, David Křípal, and Darek Rodewald once again confirmed their status as elite competitors in the world of motorsport, showcasing skill, speed, and strategic thinking.

The Dakar Rally is a true test of endurance. This year’s route covered more than eight thousand kilometers of challenging terrain. Competitors had to navigate rocky plains, towering sand dunes, and the treacherous dunes of the Empty Quarter Desert. These conditions demanded not only driving skills but also exceptional endurance, tactical preparation, and team cohesion. The Loprais Team rose to meet each of these challenges.

The final stage proved to be a real challenge. Organizers added to the excitement by staging a mass start, thus heightening the intensity of the competition. Aleš Loprais and his team won the final selective stage, demonstrating outstanding control of their vehicle and precise execution of their strategic plan. Every kilometer of the race saw the team fighting for every second to secure their place on the podium.
The battle for second place with Mitchel van den Brink was the dramatic highlight of the race. Navigating through the toughest conditions, our drivers exhibited incredible bravery and the ability to make split-second decisions. This not only helped them maintain a strong position but also allowed them to close the gap on the leaders.
“We were determined to fight until the end,” David Křípal said, describing the final moments of the race. “Our strategy was simple: accelerate as much as possible and use every opportunity to overtake.” These words reflect the spirit of the entire team, for whom victory is the result of relentless hard work and uncompromising dedication.
This year, the Loprais Team also made their debut in the Dakar Classic and achieved remarkable success. The Tatra truck crews secured first and second place in the H2 Truck category.
Igor Pazdera, who drove the Tatra 815-2 Puma, admitted that this was his first rally in a truck. He got his license just a month before the race but still managed to lead the team to victory. “I just wanted to finish the race, but eventually, we started fighting for first place and kept it until the end,” he said.
